On Wednesday afternoon, the Iowa Coaches and Seniors got together for their annual softball game. Due to rain, the game was forced to take place inside the bubble this year. As always, the coaches edged out the seniors 4-3 in extra innings this year. Coach Ferentz got the win as the pitcher for the coaches while Markus Zusevics received the loss for the seniors. Senior Punter Eric Guthrie had all 3 RBIs for the seniors in an unlikely inside the park home run. The play of the night was a tie, going to Coach Wilson for turning a double play (which never happens in this game) and Coach Doyle for driving in the game winning run in extra innings.
